Everything Changes!
What a week.
Had my last day at NOVA on Monday, turned 25 on Tuesday, registered my new address at the Toshima Ward Office on Wednesday and got my reentry VISA on Thursday. And now, I'm flying out of Japan to Australia tonight at 7pm! Am feeling a bit rushed and wish I had more time to appreciate my "Japanese life changes" but I'm sure I'll feel more relaxed when I'm in Oz chilling out, though I do plan to study my Japanese while I'm there (something I've had no time for here in Japan) and continue to work on several websites that need to be completed.
My last day at NOVA was pretty uneventful, though EVERYONE including the staff and students kept telling me how much they're going to miss me and how good a teacher I was. Now, if only they had told me this before I decided to resign instead of complaining and making life and lessons Hell, maybe I wouldn't have resigned... maybe ... well, probably not, but I would have at least thought a bit more about it before I resigned.
Am a bit stressed about getting a new job, though I should get one easier enough PLUS I'll still be getting NOVA pay checks right into Feb.

Welcome. My name's Brad and I'm about to start my fifth year in Tokyo, Japan though lately I've found that that defines me as badly as saying I'm from Sydney, Australia.
